While the egg may seem like a new beginning, it contains within it, the blueprint of millions of years of evolution and is the final tangible product of the mating between two animals; it is the purpose of their evolutionary existence. Eggs are worlds within worlds. They represent the completion of one world order and the potential for a new one.
