Sun House and Vitality | Isthmus Nekoi
What I find interesting about reading charts is seeing how individuals tend to already know what they need, as if there is some instinctual force driving them towards fulfilling the symbolism of their natal charts. One particular signature that has always struck me is the sun house. The house the sun is placed signifies the area in life the individual needs to feel vital, stimulated and alive. Depending on the sun's aspects, this vitality may come with ease or difficulty, but because of its primary nature, because it is a need for the individual, they will always find themselves returning to this area of life. I find the house where the sun is placed is always highlighted, if not an area of abundance, almost as if the individual has instinctively learned how to bring more of this house into their lives because it is so necessary to the health of their sun, their core self.
There is however, no need to be reductionist about sun house placements. Let us consider a few examples:
7th house sun - immediate instinct may lead one to believe these individuals need to be in a romantic relationship of some sort. This is not necessarily the case. What 7th house sun people need is something else to bounce off of. They cannot create and shine in isolation. They get their charge from forming a dialogue, or a one-on-one exchange.
12th house sun - I would doubt most people would feel very vital living in a state prison, or confined to a hospital bed. With this placement, people often need to "recharge" by being in isolation, or at least, being alone.
