Your immediate personality may be quite forceful, dynamic and dramatic, eclipsing the depth of emotion that lies underneath. You have a very strong ego based personality, which is not to say you are needlessly arrogant, but rather, you have a very strong sense of self, and the boundaries between yourself and others. Your drives and goals must be met in order for you to feel vitalized; you desire to feel unique and special in the world if not recognized as such. Consequently, you may find it a challenge to relinquish your own desires and act without a "lust of purpose".

Without consciously attending to your more receptive nature, without cultivating humility, you run the risk of isolating yourself by overvaluing your cleverness, and your uniqueness. It would help to learn to channel these needs towards creative means rather than the glorification of one's personality.

Penetrating Mind, Powerful Speech

You are not a shallow minded person, and your mind is largely concerned with the "big questions" in life and topics of a foreign, unusual or secretive nature, which you approach in a deeply probing and penetrative manner. You feel most alive when you're exploring someplace new, either physically, or mentally. You may have a tendency to become obsessed with whatever topic happens to grip your attention, looking into everything that may be related. Although Gemini (your moon sign) is famous for a superficial knowledge of many topics, you do not fall under this category, researching information until you've hit bottom or picked the bones clean as it were.

You also bring depth to your speech and communication, and you may find you can be quite persuasive if need be! As an orator, you are confident and commanding, your voice, powerful.

Creative and Procreative

You are a very creative person and in addition to communication through language, you may also find visual arts or music a suitable avenue for your artistic endeavors. Music, photography and film in particular are favoured. Self expression through art is perhaps, one of the healthiest and most generous ways you can assert your uniqueness and individuality.

Spiritualized Relationships or a Fool for Love?

You are a very sexual person with high ideals when it comes to relationships and this area presents another challenge to you. While you may be able to cultivate a very spiritually based relationship, there is also a danger of having your ideals shattered, of not knowing how to cope when reality begins to encroach on your relationships, either as the more mundane aspects begins to dampen the romance, or when you discover that you have been completely mistaken in regards to your perception of your partner. You may have a tendency to project too much fantasy onto your partners and expect to achieve a perfect union when in all other aspects, your ego dominates. As such, you will likely fall into one of two patterns (or perhaps both): 1) you give everything of yourself over to an idealized partner 2) your partner is endlessly self sacrificing, giving everything of herself to you.

Parental Difficulties, Problems with Authority

Your father was a powerful figure in your childhood: dominating, intense, restrictive and severe and as such, you may resent figures of authority, especially with such a keenly developed sense of self. Unfortunately, your mother did not provide consistent comfort and may have been very unpredictable in her moods.

Your method of dealing with your parents probably resulted in an early independence and a strong desire to become self sufficient. However, to more effectively deal with authority figures in your life, it is recommended that you learn to integrate discipline, responsibility and self restraint into your own personality as well as understanding the principle of "virtuous passivity", to know when to yield to retain power.
